A Joint Honours academic plan with Women's Studies may be taken in combination with most Arts disciplines in which an Honours academic plan is offered or with many Honours majors in other Faculties.
Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative average of 60% and a cumulative average of 75% in Women's Studies required and approved courses.
Eligibility for graduation in the Joint Honours Women's Studies academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements.
- Appropriate Program-level requirements for the Home Faculty, including at least 20 academic course units (40 courses). If the Home Faculty is Arts, see Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Women's Studies Plan-level requirements:
- at least seven academic course units (14 courses) in WS and Women's Studies approved courses with a minimum cumulative average of 75%, including:
- WS 101, 102, 201, 202, 302, 306
- two of WS 205, 206, 207, 365, 475
- two of WS 108E, 208E, 209, 222, 261, 262, 281; HIST 215; SDS 220R
- two of WS 308, 320, 321, 322, 323, 325, 331, 334, 347, 370, 409, 410F, 422, 430; SOCWK 357R
- WS 499A, 499B or two WS electives if the equivalent senior honours thesis is taken in the other discipline
- Plan-level requirements for the second major.
