Honours Medieval Studies (Arts and Business Co-op & Regular) |

Students may combine the Honours Medieval Studies academic plan with Arts and Business.
Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative average of 60% and a cumulative Medieval Studies average of 75%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Honours Medieval Studies (Arts and Business Co-op and Regular) academic plan includes fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Medieval Studies Plan-level requirements:
- at least nine academic course units (18 courses) in MEDVL and Medieval Studies approved courses with a minimum cumulative average of 75%, including:
- MEDVL 105, 260 (see Note 3)
- two courses from each of five of the eight subject fields specified in the list of Medieval Studies approved courses
- ten courses, not all of which need be medieval in content, in one of the subject fields specified in the list of Medieval Studies approved courses
- two courses at the 300-level or above from the list of Medieval Studies approved courses
- one course at the 400-level from one of the specified subject fields

Notes:
- Special Topics, Senior Seminars, Directed Studies, courses taken in the International Exchange program, and generally any course with medieval content may be permitted at the discretion of the Medieval Studies advisors and with special permission. Please see one of the Medieval Studies advisors for details.
- CLAS 342, 352, FINE 342, LAT 490, and 491 are topic-based courses, therefore, subject to Medieval Studies advisor's approval.
- MEDVL 105 counts toward the required course units needed in Classical Studies and MEDVL 260 counts toward the required course units needed in History.
- Students who have taken ITAL 101 and 102 are precluded from taking ITAL 155 and vice versa.
- Although it is possible to combine a major in Medieval Studies with a minor in another discipline, it is not possible to obtain a Joint Honours degree. Please contact one of the program's advisors for more information.
