Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Fine Arts average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Three-Year General Fine Arts - General Studio Art academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-Level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Fine Arts Plan-level requirements:
- at least six academic course units (normally 12 courses) in Fine Arts with a minimum cumulative average of 65%.
- FINE 100, 112, 209, 319
- FINE 101/VCULT 101
- Drawing: two of FINE 224, 225, 226, 274
- Sculpture: one of FINE 222, 223, 271, 272
- two additional courses from the following: FINE 202, 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 271, 272, 274
- two different topics under FINE 304
Notes:
- Admission to 200-level studio courses is by successful completion of FINE 100 and by submission and approval of portfolio work done in FINE 100 at the end of the 1A term.
- Students must have successfully completed at least five 200-level studio courses by the end of their 2B term before proceeding to the 300-level studio courses.
- Students enrolled in the Three-Year General Fine Arts - General Studio Art plan are not eligible to pursue the Professional Practice Specialization.
- No one course may fulfill more than one requirement within any Fine Arts plan.
