Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Fine Arts average of 75%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Honours Fine Arts - Art History and Visual Culture academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Fine Arts Plan-level requirements:
- at least ten academic course units (normally 20 courses) in Fine Arts with a minimum cumulative average of 75%, including:
- FINE 101/VCULT 101, VCULT 200, VCULT 300
- FINE 100, FINE 112, FINE 209, FINE 319, FINE 396, FINE 496, FINE 497
- FINE 302, FINE 402 (each 0.25 unit)
- three additional FINE studio courses
- at least two different topics under FINE 243 or FINE 343 (each 0.25 unit)
- 2.5 academic units (normally five courses), chosen from the following:
- ARCH 246 (1.0 unit), ARCH 248, ARCH 342, ARCH 343, ARCH 345, ARCH 425, ARCH 428, ARCH 442, ARCH 443, ARCH 446, ARCH 449
- up to two of ENGL 319, ENGL 320, ENGL 392A, ENGL 392B
- FINE 210, FINE 212, FINE 213, FINE 214, FINE 215, FINE 241, FINE 242, FINE 281, FINE 282, FINE 331, FINE 332, FINE 338, FINE 341, FINE 342
- different topics under FINE 293, FINE 393
- different topics under FINE 205, FINE 305, FINE 405
- additional topics under FINE 330
- FINE 102/VCULT 100 or one other FINE film studies course
