Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Fine Arts average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Four-Year General Fine Arts - General Studio Art academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Fine Arts Plan-level requirements:
- at least eight academic course units (normally 16 courses) in Fine Arts with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
- FINE 100, FINE 112, FINE 209, FINE 300, FINE 319
- FINE 101/VCULT 101
- Drawing: two of FINE 224, FINE 225, FINE 226, FINE 274
- Sculpture: one of FINE 222, FINE 223, FINE 271, FINE 272
- three additional courses from the following: FINE 202, FINE 220, FINE 221, FINE 222, FINE 223, FINE 224, FINE 225, FINE 226, FINE 227, FINE 228, FINE 229, FINE 230, FINE 231, FINE 232, FINE 271, FINE 272, FINE 274
- two different topics under FINE 304
- two different topics under FINE 404
Notes
- Admission to 200-level studio courses is by successful completion of FINE 100 and by submission and approval of portfolio work done in FINE 100 at the end of the 1A term.
- Students must have successfully completed at least six 200-level studio courses by the end of their 2B term before proceeding to the 300-level studio courses.
- No one course may fulfill more than one requirement within any Fine Arts plan.
