Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Fine Arts average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Three-Year General Fine Arts academic plan (Studio Specialization, Art History Specialization or Film Studies Specialization) includes successful fulfilment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate BA Program-level requirements. See "Bachelor of Arts."
- Fine Arts Plan-level requirements:
- at least six academic course units (12 courses) in Fine Arts with a minimum cumulative average of 65%. For the different Specializations, the required courses are as follows:
Studio Specialization:
- FINE 110, 112, 120, 121
- four of FINE 220, 221, 222, 223, 224, 225, 226A, 226B, 228, 229
- two additional Studio courses at the 200- or 300-level
- two additional Art History courses
Art History Specialization:
- FINE 110, 112, 120, 121
- two additional Studio courses
- six additional Art History courses
Film Studies Specialization:
All prospective Film Studies majors and minors need permission from the Fine Arts Film advisor to register in Film Studies. Current Film Studies majors and minors should consult with the Fine Arts Film advisor about their program schedule.
