Arts Academic Plans

Four-Year General majors in the Faculty of Arts or Honours majors in any Faculty may pursue the Human Resources Management Minor. The Minor requires successful completion of a minimum of five academic course units (ten courses) with a minimum cumulative average of 70%, including:

Required courses (four):

• AFM 123/ARBUS 102, or both of AFM 101 and 102
• HRM 200
• at least two of
  • HRM 301
  • PSYCH 338
  • PSYCH 339
  • PSYCH 340

Remaining courses (to a total of ten) from:

• CS 100 or 200
• ECON 351
• ENGL 210F
• MSCI 311
• PACS 202
• PHIL 215/ARBUS 202
• one of SOC 241, 243
• statistics course
• Note: Additional topics courses may be available through Wilfrid Laurier University. All cross-registration requests are subject to the approval of the HRM advisor and space availability.
