4.0 units, at least 2.0 units of which are at the 300- or 400-level, from the following list:

AMATH 463 Fluid Mechanics
AMATH 473/PHYS 454 Quantum Theory 2

- Courses used to satisfy this specialization cannot be used to satisfy the 300- and 400-level AMATH requirements of the Honours Applied Mathematics plan.
- PHYS courses can be used to fulfil the subject concentration requirement of the Applied Mathematics plan.
- PHYS 121 is a requirement for the Honours Applied Mathematics plan and cannot be used to satisfy this requirement.
