Social Development Studies Minor |

Students enrolled in any degree program may pursue a minor designation in Social Development Studies.
A Social Development Studies Minor requires successful completion of a minimum of four academic course units (eight courses) in Social Development Studies with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
- SDS 131R, 150R
- SOCWK 120R
- five courses at the 200-level or above, including at least two courses in each of two different subject areas listed below:
- Social Development Studies: SDS 205R, 210R, 215R, 220R, 231R, 240R, 250R, 251R, 311R, 312R, 331R, 350R, 351R, 353R, 354R, 355R, 370R, 375R, 388R, 398R, 399R, 400R, 415R, 420R, 425R, 431R, 440R, 450R, 490R, 495R, 496R, 499A/B
- Psychology: PSYCH 212R, 213R, 220R, 222R, 226R, 312R, 322R, 323R, 334R, 354R, 375R, 398R, 399R, 450R, 490R
- Social Work: SOCWK 220R, 221R, 222R, 240R, 300R, 301R, 320R, 321R, 322R, 326R, 355R, 356R, 357R, 365R, 367R, 375R, 390A/B, 398R, 399R, 421R, 450R, 490R
- Sociology: SOC 204R, 207R, 223R, 224R, 375R, 398R, 399R, 450R, 490R
Notes:
- Course selection should be made only after consultation with your Renison academic advisor.
- For students in minor academic plans who do not have at least one course in statistics and one course in research, and especially those considering graduate studies in Social Work, SDS 250R and SDS 251R are strongly recommended.
