As a general policy, applicants to Waterloo must present an academic background at least equivalent to the admission requirements specified for Ontario secondary school students. It is important that this background includes courses equivalent to the required Ontario Grade 12 U and/or M courses.
Minimum requirements also include an overall university average of C (65%); some programs require higher averages or additional academic background.
