Arts Academic Plans

Students in academic plans that allow options can obtain a Women's Studies, Issues in Entrepreneurship Option.

The Option requires successful completion of a minimum of four academic course units (eight courses) in Women's Studies core, cross-listed, and approved courses, with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:

• ECON 220; HIST113; WS 101, 207
• two of WS 102, 201, 202, 205, 302
• two of MSCI 211; PSCI 231; PSYCH 438; SOC 243; one of (ECON 221; ENVS 278; ISS 250R; PSCI 214; PSYCH 292; SOC 280)

Notes:

1. This option is not open to Women's Studies majors.
2. Students who take statistics and research methods as part of their major/honours academic plans are allowed to substitute other courses in statistics/methods, or an approved statistics course required by other programs outside the Faculty of Arts. See Women's Studies Director for guidance.
