Academic Plans |
Co-op Requirements |
|
Co-op students in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences are required to successfully complete four Professional Development Courses, which include an introductory course (PD1) that must be taken before the first work term. Each PD course is worth 0.5 units and may not be substituted for regular academic course credit. Students are required to take PD2, “Critical reflection and report writing”, during their first work term. The completion of PD2 will also count for credit as the co-op student’s first work term report. Therefore, by the beginning of the 2B term, students should have completed two of the four required PD courses and must complete two more during subsequent work terms.
