Entrance Scholarships
Scholarships, normally valued at $500, are awarded to outstanding students entering first-year studies in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. These scholarships are supported through donations from faculty, staff, and retirees to the Senate Scholarship Fund.
Lyle S. Hallman Entrance Scholarship
Three scholarships, valued at $2,500 each, will be offered to outstanding students entering Kinesiology, Health Studies & Gerontology, or Recreation & Leisure Studies. These awards have been made possible through a donation from the late Lyle S. Hallman, OC, LLD. Mr. Hallman was a major benefactor of the University of Waterloo, local philanthropist, and business leader.
