The Tourism Minor is available to all University of Waterloo undergraduate degree students. The Minor is designed for students specializing in tourism impacts, tourism planning, tourism marketing, heritage, and outdoor recreation.
Requirements
The requirements for the Tourism Minor are eight courses with a minimum cumulative minor average of 65%. Recreation and Leisure Studies students should seek advice from the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies academic advisor.

Note
REC 471A and REC 471B or GEOG 490A and GEOG 490B topics, if related to the Minor, may be approved by the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies, associate chair, undergraduate studies, may be counted as tourism elective courses.
