The Aging Studies Option is open to Faculty of Health students who wish to obtain some interdisciplinary knowledge in issues related to aging, but do not wish to complete the Gerontology Minor.

- A minimum cumulative option average of 67% is required for the courses presented for the Option.

Notes
- Students are encouraged to make note of course prerequisites and antirequisites and discuss their plan and course progression with an academic advisor in the School of Public Health Sciences.
- Courses obtained on a Letter of Permission or in transfer credit must be equivalent to courses listed in the course requirements as assessed by the school/department offering the replaced course.
- Certain topics courses or independent studies on the topic of aging may be substituted for the restricted elective requirements at the discretion of the School of Public Health Sciences associate director, undergraduate studies.
