Continuation in this academic plan requires a minimum cumulative overall average of 60% and a minimum cumulative Communication Studies major average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Four-Year General Communication Studies academic plan includes successful completion of the following requirements:
- Appropriate program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Communication Studies plan-level requirements:
- a minimum cumulative Communication Studies major average of 65%
- at least eight academic course units (16 courses) in SPCOM or DAC courses, including:
- SPCOM 100, SPCOM 101, SPCOM 220/THPERF 220, SPCOM 223, SPCOM 226, SPCOM 228, SPCOM 399
- nine courses, three of which must be at the 400-level, from the following: THPERF 282, THPERF 284, THPERF 371, THPERF 376, THPERF 378, any DAC course, any additional SPCOM course
