The Tourism Minor is available to all University of Waterloo undergraduate degree students. The Minor is designed for students specializing in tourism impacts, tourism planning, tourism marketing, heritage, and outdoor recreation.
The requirements for the Tourism Minor are eight courses (four core and four elective) with a minimum cumulative minor average of 65%. Environment students must have approval of the Office of the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies, Faculty of Environment to use their thesis towards this Minor. Recreation and Leisure Studies students should seek advice from the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies academic advisor.
