The admission requirements of the Faculty of Arts are the same as the General Admission Requirements of the University. Admission requirements for part-time students are the same as for full-time students. Some academic plans may have additional admission requirements. Students with post-secondary education experience should consult the University of Waterloo's Residency Requirement and the Faculty of Arts' Transfer Credit section of this Calendar.
Admission from Another University of Waterloo Faculty
Students interested in transferring into the Faculty of Arts must meet the following admission requirements:
- at least four passed Arts courses;
- 65% average in all Arts courses, including failed courses; and
- English language requirements for admission to Arts.
