Chemistry

Honours Co-operative Geochemistry

Continuance in Honours Co-operative Geochemistry requires a cumulative overall average of at least 60% and an average of at least 60% in all Chemistry and Earth Science courses.

Detailed information on co-op program requirements is found in the Co-operative Education and Career Action section of the undergraduate calendar and in the Faculty of Science work report Guidelines.

In order to graduate with an Honours Geochemistry degree, the following requirements must be completed successfully:

  1. 19.5 lecture units that include:
  2. 3.25 laboratory units that include:
  3. 1.0 research project or thesis unit of CHEM 494A and CHEM 494B or EARTH 436A and EARTH 436B.
  4. A minimum of four work terms and submission of a minimum of four satisfactory work reports.
  5. Normally, full-time enrolment in Years Two, Three and Four.
  6. Completion of the English Language Proficiency Requirement .
