General Information

Applicants seeking admission to undergraduate programs are required to have suitable and adequate preparation to enable them to successfully undertake degree studies at the University. Before submitting an application, prospective students should carefully read the description of the program they wish to study and then review the admission requirements to determine if their background qualifies them for admission consideration. Applicants may apply for admission to the programs listed in the various faculty sections of this Calendar. The admission requirements apply to all applicants who wish to pursue degree studies on a full-time or part-time basis, including studies through Waterloo's Centre for Extended Learning. Applicants are advised to thoroughly outline their educational background in order to facilitate the admission consideration process.

All correspondence regarding applications or admission to the University of Waterloo should be directed to the Admissions Office at 519-888-4567, ext. 33106 or by email to myapplication@uwaterloo.ca.
