Students enrolled in any non- or post-degree academic plan may pursue the Diploma in Chinese Language. This diploma may be of particular interest to students who seek to acquire a basic introductory understanding of, but not fluency in, Chinese (Mandarin).
The Diploma in Chinese Language requires successful completion of three academic course units (six courses) from those designated as CHINA with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
- CHINA 101R, CHINA 102R, CHINA 120R, CHINA 200R, CHINA 201R, CHINA 202R, CHINA 301R, CHINA 302R, CHINA 310R, CHINA 320R, CHINA 390R
Note
Students may use no more than two 100-level courses towards the Diploma.
