Students who have completed at least three years (minimum of 15.0 lecture units) of any Regular or Co-operative Science program at the University of Waterloo prior to successfully completing the Optometry degree may be eligible to transfer up to 6.0 optometry units to an Honours Science Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. Students who already have a Three Year General Science degree from the University of Waterloo are eligible to "upgrade" their degree to Honours Science.
