This program has been designed to deliver a set of learning outcomes that align with the University of Waterloo's undergraduate degree level expectations and the competencies required by accounting and finance professionals. Students enrolled in the Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) program combine their academic studies with the University's co-operative education program. Four co-op work term credits are required for completion of the co-op component of the degree.
Students wishing to qualify for a specific professional designation (e.g., Chartered Professional Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst) are advised to review additional information provided on the AFM website and the Master of Accounting website.
