All students enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering are required to complete the English Language Proficiency Exam requirement (ELPE). The exact detail is slightly different for the Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) and Bachelor of Software Engineering (BSE) students and the Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) students. Before taking the ELPE for a second time the student must participate in either the ELPE review at the Writing Centre or the more complete sessions at the Writing Centre. In addition, students are encouraged to review the ELPE preparation material on-line prior to taking the ELPE.
