Co-op Requirements |
|
Co-op students in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences are required to successfully complete four professional development (PD) courses, which include an introductory course, Co-op Fundamentals (PD1), that must be taken before the first work term. Each professional development course is worth 0.5 unit and may not be substituted for regular academic course credit. Students are required to take Critical Reflection and Report Writing (PD2), during their first work term. The completion of Critical Reflection and Report Writing (PD2) will also count for credit as the co-op student’s first work term report. Therefore, by the beginning of the 2B term, students should have completed two of the four required professional development courses and must complete two more during subsequent work terms. Further information is available through the Professional Development Program.
