Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Speech Communication average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Three-Year General Speech Communication academic plan includes fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Speech Communication Plan-level requirements:
- at least five academic course units (ten courses) in SPCOM and Speech Communication approved courses with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:

- Students must declare their two areas of concentration with the department undergraduate advisor at the end of their 1B term.
