Earth and Environmental Sciences

Minor in Earth Sciences
In order to graduate with a Minor in Earth Sciences, the following requirements must be met:
  1. Successful completion of a minimum of 5.0 EARTH lecture units with a minimum average of 60% in these courses.
  2. The required courses must include:
  • EARTH 121/122 and 121L/122L in Year One;
  • 2.0 units from: EARTH 123, 221, 231, 232, 235, 236, 238, 260 ;
  • 1.0 unit from: EARTH 331, 332, 333, 342, 358, 359, 361;
  • 1.0 unit from: EARTH 421435, 436A/B,(with permission of department), 438, 440, 444, 456, 458, 459, 460, 461, 471 .

    Geological Engineering
    This is an interdisciplinary program administered by faculty from the departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Earth and Environmental Sciences.  For details consult 'Geological Engineering' in the calendar.
