Honours

Successful completion of 20 units is necessary in order to obtain the Honours BSc degree in Kinesiology. The plan must be completed in eight years.

1. Required Kinesiology Courses (7.5 units):
   KIN 100, 100L (.25), 101 (.25), 105, 121, 160, 205, 217, 221, 222, 250, 255, 330, 346, 354, 470
   
   
2. Required Courses from other departments (3.5 units):
   BIOL 130, 273, CHEM 120, MATH 124 or 127, PHYS 111, PSYCH 101, SOC 101
   
   
3. Kinesiology Electives: 3.5 units from those offered in the Department in addition to the required courses. As part of their Kinesiology elective package, those students who wish to do so may specialize in one of the streams designated by the Department.
   
   
4. Free Electives: The remaining 5.5 units may be chosen from any department. Kinesiology electives may be taken as free electives.

Students should choose electives in consultation with their Faculty advisor.

General

The General degree is offered through the regular system of study only and may be taken by part-time study.

In order to receive the General BSc degree a student must successfully complete 20 units including the following requirements:

   KIN 100, 100L (.25), 101 (.25), 105, 121, 160, 205, 217, 221, 222, 250, 255, 346, 354
   
   
2. Required Courses from other departments (3.5 units):
   BIOL 130, 273, CHEM 120, MATH 124 or 127, PHYS 111, PSYCH 101, SOC 101
   
   
3. Kinesiology Electives: 3.5 elective units in Kinesiology
   
   
4. Free Electives: The remaining 6.5 units may be chosen from any department. Kinesiology electives may be taken as free electives.
