An Option is a specified combination or grouping of courses which provides the student with an emphasis in a particular discipline.
The Recreation and Leisure Studies Department has available the following Options to students in Honours plans:
- Parks Option
- Tourism Option
Students interested in pursuing an option should speak with the Undergraduate Advisor by the beginning of second year.
Parks Option
Required Courses (2 units):

- Only the second completed course of REC 433/ENVS 433 or ENVS 444/REC 437 may be counted as a Parks Option Elective.
- Students interested in working for the Canadian Federal Government are encouraged to take French language courses.
