A Minor is a group of approved courses taken by an Honours student in a subject area outside of Recreation and Leisure Studies. Minors are available in most departments at Waterloo. Students interested in pursuing a Minor should consult with the department offering the Minor. A Minor normally consists of 5 units. A Minor in Recreation and Leisure Studies is not available to students in other programs. However, a Joint Honours Degree may be available (see above).
