Three-Year General DramaContinuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Drama average of 65%. Eligibility for graduation in the Three-Year General Drama academic plan includes successful fulfilment of the following requirements: - Appropriate BA Program-level requirements. See "BA Degree Requirements."
- Drama Plan-level requirements:
- at least six academic course units (12 courses) in Drama with a minimum cumulative average 65%, including:
- DRAMA 101A, 101B and 102 which must be taken in the first year
- Dramatic Literatures: any three of DRAMA 251, 301, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315, 317, 318, 319A, 319B, 319C, 319D, 380, 381, 382, 384, 385, 386, 387, ENGL 190
- DRAMA 243, 244, 371 or 372, 409
Four-Year General DramaContinuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Drama average of 70%. Eligibility for graduation in the Four-Year General Drama academic plan includes successful fulfilment of the following requirements: - Appropriate BA Program-level requirements. See "BA Degree Requirements."
- Drama Plan-level requirements:
- at least 7.5 academic course units (15 courses) in Drama with a minimum cumulative average of 70%, including:
- DRAMA 101A, 101B and 102 which must be taken in the first year;
- Dramatic Literatures: any three of DRAMA 251, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315, 317, 318, 319A, 319B, 319C, 319D, 380, 381, 382, 384, 385, 386, 387
- DRAMA 243, 244, 301, 371, 372, 409
Note: A fourth dramatic literature may be used to replace one of DRAMA 371 or 372.
Honours DramaThe Honours academic plan is designed so that a student can work through a particular sequence of courses in one field (acting, academic, directing, technical). The optional DRAMA 499 project in the fourth year may be centred on this specialization. Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Drama average of 75%. Eligibility for graduation in the Honours Drama academic plan includes successful fulfilment of the following requirements: - Appropriate BA Program-level requirements. See "BA Degree Requirements."

- at least ten academic course units (20 courses) in Drama with a minimum cumulative average of 75%, including:
- DRAMA 101A, 101B and 102 which must be taken in the first year
- Dramatic Literatures: any four of DRAMA 251, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315, 317, 318, 319A, 319B, 319C, 319D, 380, 381, 382, 384, 385, 386, 387
- DRAMA 243, 244, 301, 371, 372, 409
Honours Drama (Arts and Business Co-op and Regular)A student may combine an Honours Drama academic plan with Arts and Business. The requirements in Drama are identical to the Drama Joint Honours academic plan listed below. See Arts and Business for the Arts and Business requirements. Joint Honours DramaA Joint Honours academic plan with Drama may be taken in combination with any other Arts discipline in which an Honours academic plan is offered or with many Honours majors in other Faculties. See the department for the most recent list of approved combinations. Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Drama average of 75%. Eligibility for graduation in the Joint Honours Drama academic plan includes successful fulfilment of the following requirements: - Appropriate Program-level requirements for the Home Faculty, including at least 20 academic course units. If the Home Faculty is Arts, see "BA Degree Requirements."

Minor in DramaThe Minor requires the successful completion of DRAMA 101A, 101B and DRAMA 102 plus seven other courses of which two must be in Dramatic Literature, with a minimum cumulative Drama average of 65%. Acting CoursesAuditions are required for DRAMA 221, 222, 306, 307, 321, 322, 406, 407, 421, 422, 425. Note For All Academic PlansA student who has taken ENGL 362/363 or DRAMA 386/387 may not also take ENGL 190. Note For Drama Majors Enrolled in the Minor or Option in Speech CommunicationStudents may double count two Drama courses from the Performance Studies list in Speech Communication toward their Major in Drama and the Minor or Option in Speech Communication.
