The University of Waterloo has student exchange agreements with institutions worldwide. Students in the Faculty of Health must be in Satisfactory standing for their academic plan in order to participate in an exchange. Courses taken while on exchange may be credited towards a Waterloo degree.
Normally, students will attend the host university for one academic term. Students are advised to choose a term where they will be taking mostly elective courses. Consequently, students should take into account when degree-required courses are offered when planning their exchange.
