Geomatics

Honours Geomatics

Honours Geomatics is available in both systems of study: regular and co-operative.

Continuing in Honours Geomatics requires a minimum overall average of 65% (all courses), a minimum special average of 60% (all CS and MATH courses), and a minimum major average of 70% (all ENVS and GEOG courses).

Additional conditions:

  1. If a minimum grade of 65% is achieved in EMLS 129R/ENGL 129R or ENGL 109, the Undergraduate Communication Requirement (UCR) milestone will be granted. If the minimum grade is not met, review the Overview of Academic Plan Requirements page and contact the Geomatics academic advisor.
  2. The Environment Academic Regulations section of this Calendar contains information, regulations, and requirements pertaining to undergraduate studies within the Faculty. It is students' responsibility to familiarize themselves with the content of this section.
  3. Geomatics students are required to have at least 13.5 units at or above 200-level to meet Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) degree requirements.
  4. Students who opt to take CS 136 are required to take CS 136L (0.25 unit) as they are listed corequisites. CS 136L is graded as CR or NCR (Credit or No Credit). There is no numerical grade value associated with a CR or NCR grade. A CR grade in CS 136L will be used towards the total unit requirement, but it is not required for this plan.
