Climate and Environmental Change

Honours Climate and Environmental Change

Honours Climate and Environmental Change is available in both systems of study: regular and co-operative.

Continuing in Honours Climate and Environmental Change requires a minimum cumulative overall average of 65% (all courses), a minimum special average of 60% (all BIOL, CHEM, EARTH, MATH, and PHYS courses), and a minimum cumulative major average of 70% (all ENVS and GEOG courses).

Additional conditions:

  1. If a minimum grade of 65% is achieved in EMLS 129R/ENGL 129R or ENGL 109, the Undergraduate Communication Requirement (UCR) milestone will be granted. If the minimum grade is not met, review the Overview of Academic Plan Requirements page and contact the Climate and Environmental Change academic advisor.
  2. The Environment Academic Regulations section of this Calendar contains information, regulations, and requirements pertaining to undergraduate studies within the Faculty. It is students' responsibility to familiarize themselves with the content of this section.
  3. Climate and Environmental Change students are required to have at least 14.5 units at or above 200-level to meet the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree requirements.
  4. Students must take GEOG 490A if intending to take GEOG 490B. GEOG 490A will count towards the 300- or 400-level elective requirement.
