About the Faculty of Environment

Overview

The Faculty of Environment is comprised of two departments (Geography and Environmental Management and Knowledge Integration) and three schools (Environment, Resources and Sustainability, Planning, and Environment, Enterprise and Development). As a Faculty, we are recognized for our interdisciplinary and integrative approaches to solving contemporary, complex challenges in the environment and society. These approaches to problem solving are not limited to research, but are also embodied in the Faculty's innovative teaching.

The Faculty of Environment offers the following undergraduate degrees.

Honours Environment and Business (regular and co-op)
Honours Environment, Resources and Sustainability (regular and co-op)
Honours Geography and Aviation (regular)
General Geography and Environmental Management (regular)
Honours Geography and Environmental Management (regular and co-op)
Honours Geomatics (regular and co-op)
Honours International Development with Practice Specialization or Research Specialization (regular)
Honours Planning (co-op)

Bachelor of Knowledge Integration (BKI)

Honours Knowledge Integration (regular)

Bachelor of Science (BSc)

Honours Climate and Environmental Change (regular and co-op)

Bachelor of Sustainability and Financial Management (BSFM)

Honours Sustainability and Financial Management (co-op)

Notes

The general plan will normally take three years and honours plans will normally take four years to complete if the course sequencing provided by the academic advisor is followed. Co-operative honours plans typically take approximately five years to complete due to alternating study/work terms.
