The admission requirements of the Faculty of Arts are the same as the general admission requirements of the University of Waterloo. Admission requirements for part-time students are the same as for full-time students. Some academic plans may have additional admission requirements. Admission from Another University of Waterloo Faculty
Students interested in transferring in to the Faculty of Arts must meet the following admission requirements:
- at least four passed Arts courses;
- minimum 65% average in all Arts courses, including failed courses; and
- English language requirements for admission to Arts.
