The Four-Year General Kinesiology degree is offered through the regular system of study only. Successful completion of 21.0 units is necessary in order to obtain the Bachelor of Science, General Kinesiology degree.

- Kinesiology elective courses: 3.5 units of additional Kinesiology courses.
- Free elective courses: The remaining 6.0 units may be chosen from any subject, including Kinesiology.
- Minimum cumulative major average required is 60%; minimum cumulative overall average required is 53%.

- Students are encouraged to make full use of the advisory system in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences in formulating their academic plans.
- All students in Year One are honours students.
- As part of their kinesiology elective package, those students who wish to do so may specialize in one of the minors or specialization designated by the Department.
