All undergraduate degrees in the Faculty of Health have to be completed while meeting specific time to completion guidelines.
For Honours Health Sciences, Honours Public Health, Honours and Four-Year General Kinesiology, and Honours Co-op Recreation and Leisure Studies, students must successfully complete all degree requirements within eight calendar years from the time students first enter their plan. For these Faculty of Health plans, students admitted with the equivalent of one year advanced standing must complete the degree requirements in seven calendar years. For those admitted with the equivalent of two years of advanced standing, the degree requirements must be completed within six calendar years of entry into the plan.
Recreation and Leisure Studies students in the regular system of study may complete their studies on a part-time basis. Those students admitted to 1A must complete all degree requirements within 12 years of entry into the program. Students admitted with one year or more of advanced standing must complete their degree within 10 years of point of entry.
Students must adhere to the course requirements for the specified year as defined in the course sequence within each plan in the Calendar.
