All students enrolled in any Fine Arts studio course must have appropriate safety instruction, and must complete the following three milestones, which will appear on their transcript.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHMIS) (Online)
Must be completed by the end of the first term of enrolment in Fine Arts studio courses. For further information about the WHMIS course, see the Safety Office website.
Fine Arts Health and Safety (Online)
Must be completed by the end of the first term of enrolment in Fine Arts studio courses, prior to enrolling in 200-level studio courses.
Woodshop Workshop
Must be completed prior to enrolment in a Fine Arts 200-level studio course.
