Gender and Social Justice is an interdisciplinary approach to the study of gender-based experiences. Gender and sex play a crucial role in all aspects of our social lives. Courses in Gender and Social Justice cover such topics as the representation of male and female bodies, women and the law, images of women in popular culture, gender and technology, women across cultures within Canada and globally, women and religion, as well as women's writing. Students who are enrolled in a Gender and Social Justice plan can take cross-disciplinary courses in English, history, legal studies, philosophy, religious studies, and sociology.
