  2. ENGL 200A, ENGL 200B, ENGL 251 are strongly recommended for second year.
  3. A maximum of two of the following courses may be used to fulfil Three-Year General English plan requirements: ENGL 210E, ENGL 210F, ENGL 210G, ENGL 210H, ENGL 210I/LS 291, ENGL 309E/SPCOM 323, ENGL 376R, ENGL 377R. 4. Although the Department of English Language and Literature provides advisors to help students choose their academic plans, arrange their courses, and conform with the University of Waterloo, Faculty of Arts, and Department regulations, students are urged to study the Undergraduate Calendar very carefully because they are themselves responsible for failure to abide by these regulations.
