Honours Biology, Molecular Genetics Specialization

Continuing in Honours Biology, Molecular Genetics Specialization requires a cumulative overall average of 60%, a cumulative Science average of 60%, and a cumulative Biology average of 60%. 

Successful completion of this program requires:

21.5 units distributed as follows:

  1. A maximum of 3.0 SCI units may be counted toward this program.
  2. A maximum of 5.0 failed units is permitted.
  3. A failed second attempt of a required course will result in removal from the program (see Faculty of Science policy on repeating courses).

Notes

  1. Students are encouraged to take 1.0 unit from the Faculty of Arts, with 0.5 unit being from the Department of English Language and Literature.
  2. BIOL 361 is a recommended elective.
  3. Students should verify term of offering when choosing between MATH 114, MATH 127, and PHYS 111 as they plan their course sequence.
