Notes

  1. No one course may fulfil more than one requirement within any Visual Culture plan.
  2. Visual Culture covers three topics – art and art history, film, media – and the elective courses have been grouped accordingly. Students can select from across all three groups of courses to gain broad exposure to different facets of visual culture, or they can concentrate on just one or two groups of courses to get more focused exposure.
  3. Consult the Visual Culture co-ordinator in Fine Arts before enrolling in FR 486, ARCH, INTEG, and DAC courses.

Arts and Business (Co-op and Regular)

Students may combine the Honours Visual Culture academic plan with Arts and Business. In addition to the Honours Visual Culture requirements, students must also complete the Arts and Business requirements.

Honours Double Majors

Honours Visual Culture may be taken in combination with most Arts majors in which an Honours major is offered or with many Honours majors in other faculties. For further information, see the double major section of Available Arts Academic Plans.
