Successful completion of this minor requires:
- 5.0 units distributed as follows:
- 1.0 BIOL unit: BIOL 130 and BIOL 240
- 2.0 CHEM units: CHEM 233, CHEM 264, CHEM 265, and CHEM 331
- 1.0 BIOL elective unit chosen from: BIOL 309, BIOL 331, BIOL 354, BIOL 428, BIOL 431, BIOL 434, BIOL 438, BIOL 439, and BIOL 448
- 1.0 CHEM elective unit chosen from: CHEM 357, CHEM 430, CHEM 432, and CHEM 433
- A minimum cumulative average of 60% in each of the subjects, Biology and Chemistry.
Notes
- CHEM 266, CHEM 267, CHEM 237 and CHEM 333 normally will not count towards the Minor in Biochemistry.
- A Minor in Biochemistry will not be awarded together with a Minor in Biology and/or Chemistry as this would require triple counting of some courses.
