Students enrolled in any degree program (see Notes 1 and 2) may pursue a minor designation in Management Studies.
The Management Studies Minor requires successful completion of a minimum of four academic course units (eight courses) with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
- AFM 123/ARBUS 102, or both of AFM 101 and AFM 102
- ARBUS 200, ARBUS 300, ARBUS 400
- ECON 101, ECON 344/ARBUS 302
- Statistics: one of ARTS 280, ECON 221, ENVS 278, GBDA 205, KIN 222, KIN 232, LS 280, PSCI 314, PSYCH 292, REC 371, SDS 250R, SMF 230, SOC 280, STAT 202, STAT 206, STAT 211, STAT 221, STAT 231, STAT 241, SWREN 250R
- one of HRM 200, MSCI 211 or PSYCH 238

- The Management Studies Minor is not available to students currently enrolled in or who have graduated from university business programs, plans, or subplans, including Waterloo "X and Business" academic plans.
- The Management Studies Minor is not available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Global Business and Digital Arts.
