Students enrolled in any degree program may pursue a minor designation in Human Sciences.
The Human Sciences Minor requires successful completion of a minimum of four academic course units (eight courses) in Human Sciences and approved courses with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:
- HUMSC 101, HUMSC 102
- one of HUMSC 201, HUMSC 301
- one of HUMSC 401, PHIL 326J
- two of PHIL 100J, PHIL 118J, PHIL 120J, PHIL 204J, PHIL 210J, PHIL 218J
- one of ITALST 291, ITALST 311/ITAL 311, ITALST 312/ITAL 312, ITALST 360, ITALST 370/ITAL 370/WS 370
- one of SOC 355J, SOC 369J
Notes
- Students may use no more than four courses at the 100-level to fulfil the plan requirements.
- Course selection should be made in consultation with the director of Human Sciences as other approved courses may be substituted.
