Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative minimum overall average of 60% and a cumulative minimum Speech Communication major average of 65%.
Eligibility for graduation in the Four-Year General Speech Communication academic plan includes successful completion of the following requirements:
- Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
- Speech Communication Plan-level requirements:
- a minimum Speech Communication major average of 65%
- at least eight academic course units (16 courses) in SPCOM and Speech Communication approved courses, including:
- SPCOM 100, SPCOM 101, SPCOM 220/DRAMA 220, SPCOM 223, SPCOM 226, SPCOM 228, SPCOM 399
- six additional SPCOM courses, three of which must be at the 400-level
