Arts Academic Plans

Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative minimum overall average of 60% and a cumulative minimum Legal Studies major average of 65%.

Eligibility for graduation in the Four-Year General Legal Studies academic plan includes successful completion of the following requirements:

1. Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
2. Legal Studies Plan-level requirements:
   • a minimum Legal Studies major average of 65%
   • at least eight academic course units (16 courses) in Legal Studies, including:
     • LS 101, LS 221/SOC 221, LS 300/SOC 370, LS 322/SOC 322 
     • SOC 101/SOC 101R 
     • four additional LS courses at the 200-level
     • three additional LS courses at the 300-level
     • four LS courses at the 400-level; or LS 401, LS 402, and two additional LS courses at the 400-level

Note

At least four academic course units (eight courses) taken to fulfil the requirements of this academic plan must be unique to the plan.
