Advisors : Drs. C. Bissonnette (Chemistry) and E. Reardon (Earth Sciences)

Continuance in Honours Co-operative Geochemistry requires a cumulative overall average of at least 60% and an average of at least 60% in all Chemistry and Earth Science courses.

For students studying in the co-op format, find detailed information on co-op program requirements in the Co-operative Education and Career Action section of the undergraduate calendar and in the Faculty of Science work report Guidelines.

In order to graduate with an Honours Geochemistry degree, the following requirements must be completed successfully:

  1. 19.0 lecture units, 3.25 laboratory units and a research project and thesis (1.0 unit).
  2. Mandatory courses as listed below.
  3. Three Chemistry and three Earth Sciences technical electives chosen from CHEM 313, 350, 420, 450; EARTH 305, 361, 421, 456, 458, 459. Substitutions may be made with the approval of the Undergraduate Advisors.
