Fine Arts

Three-Year General Fine Arts - Art History and Visual Culture

Continuation in this academic plan requires a cumulative overall average of 60% and a cumulative Fine Arts average of 65%.

Eligibility for graduation in the Three-Year General Fine Arts - Art History and Visual Culture academic plan includes successful fulfillment of the following requirements: 

  1. Appropriate Program-level requirements. See Bachelor of Arts Degree Requirements.
  2. Fine Arts Plan-level requirements
    • at least six academic course units (normally 12 courses) in Fine Arts with a minimum cumulative average of 65%, including:

  1. Consult Art History advisor in Fine Arts before enrolling in ARCH and ENGL courses.
  2. Several of the courses listed above require specific prerequisites and/or permission of the instructor. Please consult the course description for further information.
